This art piece was inspired by my boyfriend, now Husband who loves the skies & space & I painted for his birthday. When he speaks of it, the little boy in him comes alive; where I can see the Lord wants to keep that passion & wonder alive no matter what age he or anyone turns.
So this is to believe in your childhood dreams, that they can be achieved as well as taking hold of the light of the Lord. He desires to delight our hearts & is a God of the impossible, just dream with Him & let yourself be taken into new adventures with Him.

Love You to the Moon & Back
This is the second painting I did for my boyfriend because he is such a space fanatic & with this year being the 50th anniversary of the moon landing, it just seemed like one of the best things to paint. It’s been so fun to tap into my boyfriend’s passions & get into another world, no pun intended, LOL. Yet I wanted to portray that no matter where he has to go or how long, that I will love him & that I believe in his dreams. When we have someone we love then we want to believe in what is in their heart, their passions & their dreams. I wanted this to tell him everyday that I stand with him even when he’s on another planet in communication wise or other crazy things that happen while in relationship. He’s not on the journey alone but has one who is loving him through it all.

With my husband’s love for space, NASA & other things that are out of this world, it has inspired me to paint some whimsical space art & this one was so fun to do. It came about because we like kayaking as well so thinking of sailing away on the moon just paddling away in your dreams just brought me joy. It has been one that so many have adored but then when I tell them that the original glows in the dark just brings out so many smiles as it’s an added delight & surprise.
