I heard this quote & thought, I want people to know & believe they truly have wings & they are beautiful, so I started painting wings so when your spirit flutters when seeing it, then this may be your wings you can't see.
This is painting is the rainbow but maybe not after the storm but the rainbow in the midst of the storm. My first painting in the New Year, 2021 was finally here, can there be hope now where the past year was a bit of an uncertainty because of all sad, crazy & faith stirring things that went on. I couldn’t feel the hope, so it wasn’t easy to get back to painting for hope because it felt like not much had changed; still the uncertainty was following yet I needed to remember, BUT GOD! After that I heard God say, “No, there are still promises over you & you will see them if you chase after Me! Let me fight the fight for what is going on in this world, but you need to chase after Me & I hold your promises & wont let go.” Sometimes promises can seem like a wave, on moment you feel it’s possible & another time you don’t but if you stay with the Lord you know that He stays consistent so you can in your faith too! That’s what this painting is about those who Chase after Him, fly faithfully even through the tough times & they come out the other side stronger & more full of color because they have a rainbow of faith they display.
